Our latest VR work, commissioned by Visit South Devon, has taken us all around Devon! From flying down a zip wire, Rockpooling at Wembury or having a pleasant trip along a canal. They will be used to promote the activities you can enjoy and experience around South Devon, particularly over the summer holidays!
VR video Devon: Wembury Beach
In each VR video Devon looks like a great place to visit. First of all, we took our recently upgraded 360 kit to Wembury Beach and captured the beautiful vast landscape looking out to sea. Furthermore, Wembury Beach is distinguished by it’s rocky surface which provides members of the public with the amazing opportunity to do a spot of Rockpooling. We set up our GoPro Fusion 360 in various rock-pools along the beach to capture the fun, family-friendly experience. Additionally, the Fusion produced some incredibly sharp and vibrant 360s which were edited together to a delightful narrative explaining what you can expect to find at Wembury.
GoApe at Haldon Forest VR video
Our next exploit with the 360 camera was to GoApe at Haldon Forest. Our VR takes you along the high ropes adventure that you can experience at GoApe. Furthermore, our 360 gives you an immersive preview of the ascended fun you can expect to have. From walking the tight rope to flying down the sky wire, you can now experience some of the GoApe adventure without leaving your chair!
The Grand Western Canal in Tiverton
We filmed our last VR at the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton, North Devon. Furthermore, we took our 360 camera onto the last horse-drawn barge in the West of England. You can also find other barges that are cafes and restaurants giving members of the public unique ways to experience being on the canal. There is also a museum that explains the incredible history behind the horse-drawn barge which is open to visitors.
