We visited some of Dorset’s stunning garden estates to shoot for Visit Dorset where you can spend time discovering the history behind their architecture whilst taking in the fantastic views. Our video specifically features some of the spectacular landscapes you can see at National Trust’s Kingston Lacy, Mapperton House, Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens as well as Athelhampton and Forde Abbey. Of course, these flourishing areas are only some of the beautiful gardens you can discover while exploring Dorset.

Animal encounters

Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens gives families the opportunity to get up close and personal with the local wildlife. We captured some unforgettable moments such as visitors enjoying the Falconry experiences. We also caught the beautiful interaction between the resident alpacas and the little ones.

Stunning scenery

The first aerial in our film captures the breath-taking views of the Jurassic Coast that you can see from St Catherine’s Chapel in Abbotsbury. We also set off with our drone around the various estates to highlight the amazing architectural designs of the gardens. We also scouted some incredible spots around Dorset and flew across the landscapes giving viewers a peek at the mesmerising views.
