In 2022 SoundView declared a climate emergency, coining the phrase “Every action is a pixel in the bigger picture.” We recognise the dangerous effects of human-made greenhouse gases on the planet and have made a pledge to be carbon neutral before 2025 and further, net zero by 2030.

This means we will reduce our scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2025 and scope 3 emissions by 2030 in sync with the global declaration to limit warming to 1.5 degrees and reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere. Joining the many organisations in our community, we are committed to reshaping our entire business design and approach, both short-term and long-term, embracing all pillars of sustainability (social, environmental and economic). Keeping our people and planet philosophy at our core, it is our aim to have more than 50% of our yearly productions Albert certified while working towards B-Corp. 

We are doing our part by working towards reducing our environmental impact both behind the scenes and on screen. Wherever possible, we are reducing our waste, implementing a tri-waste system, sourcing environmentally responsible materials and implementing carbon reduction schemes. Further, by declaring a climate emergency as a business and investigating our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, we have set reasonable targets to achieve net zero while keeping people and the planet front and centre.
