Since establishing SoundView in 2009 we’ve been committed to diversity. Diversity in our team brings new perspectives, fosters creativity and leads to innovation. Diversity in our productions means better story-led content that has a positive effect on our audiences. In short, we believe that including everyone’s talents enriches all of our lives and makes what we do better.
SoundView is a Disability Confident Leader organisation. The government-led scheme challenges attitudes and increases understanding of disability. It enables us to discover, collaborate and work with people we just can’t do without.
We are committed to breaking down barriers to access and want to make our content as inclusive as possible. We’ve consulted with people with lived experience of disabilities to inform us about the accessibility tools that are most useful to them for online and screen content.
We are developing an assisted reality system to increase access to on-screen entertainment and offer bespoke virtual reality experiences for visitor attractions and heritage sites that would otherwise be impossible for those with reduced mobility to access and enjoy.
