Includiverse at Imagination Unleashed 2026

The Includiverse team attended the annual Imagination Unleashed conference in Cornwall.

The Includiverse team is no stranger to industry events. Our work has taken us all around the UK and overseas in pursuit of research and development, but this one was thankfully closer to home. We’re huge advocates for supporting local creators and an event like Imagination Unleased is the perfect place to see those ideas come to life. Held at the Hall for Cornwall, the 2026 edition of Imagination Unleashed was our second time at the event and this time we were in full participant mode: that is we had all day to explore, learn and try things out for ourselves.

Marketing Executive Ceri trying a VR dance experience

The event opened with keynote speaker Oliver Scott from Embody XR. He uses his background in dance in collaboration with immersive tech to create a virtual reality experience focused on movement and mental health. Dance and immersive tech is not necessarily a pairing you would immediately put together and it just goes to show that immersive tech is limitless when paired with imagination. In a room full of developers and freelancers, funding is something we can all relate to and hearing Scott touch upon his own experiences with navigating that landscape offered a comforting thought: you are not alone.

A huge array of talent was on display, including soundscapes inspired by war and political turmoil, a pop up immersive dome with a meditative reality inside and a motherly alternative to ChatGPT. Although we love demonstrating our smart glasses accessible solution wherever we go, crossing over to the other side and trying new things out for ourselves is always a valuable experience and one that we thoroughly enjoy. We love to see new and emerging artists and fully support them in their creative endeavours.

We had the opportuntity to try plenty of new and innovative products

We are always learning and always growing and events like Imagination Unleashed are an invaluable source to tap into the creative melting pot we find ourselves in. It is living proof that if you can dream it, you can do it. Everyone has to start somewhere and if you are yet to take that first step, this is your sign. You never know where you might end up.

A big thank you to Screen Cornwall for a highly successful event.
