Time Team is back for the digital age. The show which followed a team of specialist archaeologist’s on digs around the world and presented by Tony Robinson was on air for 20 years from 1994. Now it’s returned with its own Patreon and YouTube channels, and the team here at Soundview has been involved with producing some of the new content. From Dartmoor to Shropshire we have been on shoots working with some new and old faces from Time Team.
The re-boot of the show has attracted the attention of a global audience and while the show is still true to its original format, being filmed over three days on location, the digital channels allow viewers and subscribers to access tons more content, including behind-the-scenes footage. Earlier this year, Time Team visited Halston Hall in search of a knight’s Hospitaller preceptory. The entire programme will be aired in 2023.
