Artificial intelligence has grown from something we imagined in science fiction to a being a significant part of our lives. With Alexa and ChatGPT now household names, it is hard to remember a time without AI technology at our fingertips. Where would we be without Google Maps? Lost, probably.
The rise of AI comes with controversy, but there is no denying that AI can and is being used for good. Innovators like us here at the Includiverse are using AI as part of our mission to democratise content for some of the most disadvantaged people, and on our journey to achieve this, we cross paths with others who are working in similar ways.

AI Podcasts
Managing Director and podcasts fan Gareth Allen recently connected with Arup Biswas at Klaxon AI who came to us with the opportunity to create an AI generated podcast. The process is really simple and efficient. Start by sending over a something you would like to use as a script (we used our recent market hall blog post) and in less than 24 hours we had an eight minute track voiced by an AI presenter! Klaxon even offer a service where they start from scratch, no text required.
Podcasts themselves came onto the scene in the early 2000’s and rose to popularity in the mid-2010s. An estimated 20% of the Uk now listen to at least one podcast per week and those numbers continue to grow. Live podcasting (like Innovation Conversations of which Gareth Allen is a featured guest) is increasingly popular and with the addition of AI, podcasting is on the cusp of a new era.
