Video marketing Lappa Valley: How they use video.
Lappa Valley have a brilliant website. Its got lots of interactivity, great photos and loads of information. What they wanted was a video that would help people understand exactly what they can see and do when they visit. The solution? A video that allows visitors to experience being on board their steam railway as it journeys through the site whilst seeing all that’s on offer.
The Shoot
Obviously good weather helps when filming, so when sun was forecast, we headed down to Lappa Valley. With an aerial video shoot, we like to arrive early so that we cause minimum disruption (plus the light is great)! Once the aerial video was in the bag, we captured the rest of the activities on offer once the gates were open. So, our video features real visitors enjoying a great day out: parents, children, dogs, all having a fantastic time.
Then as part of the edit, Soundview animated the Lappa Valley logo to really give a sense of the fun. Next, Lappa Valley put their video on their Plan Your Visit page, so that those planning a visit can get a sense of the activities that await them. And we are so pleased Lappa Valley are happy with the results:
