Aerial and 4K videos for Visit Devon

Soundview has had the recent pleasure of working with Visit Devon.

We have produced a series of 4K films for them. The videos promote the region to visitors worldwide and include amazing aerial views. This bird’s eye view shows off how wonderful Devon is. Aerial and 4K videos really do it justice.
In our video, ‘A Bird’s Eye View‘ for Visit Devon, you can see some great shots over Devon. Such as this one over Smeaton’s Tower here in Plymouth. And 4K makes it look even better.

What’s so special about 4K video?

4K is a video quality which means the video has approximately 4,000 pixels of content. Videos produced to this standard are so crisp and clear it enhances the experience of watching the footage. Even more so when experiencing an aerial view.

Aerial video

The demand for aerial video is increasing each year; in fact, our clients are requesting this more than ever. That’s because the aerial video is one of the best ways of showing what a destination has to offer.
For our Visit Devon video, we worked with Castle Air, the company that flies the BBC around the UK when making ‘Coast’. We used our 4K camera to capture the devon while they took care of the flying.
But for the majority of our clients, it’s our drones that allow us to create aerial videos. We can get some of the best shots possible from above using our Inspire and Phantom drones.
Sometimes our client needs a video to be exclusively aerial footage, as in our video for Treetop Escape, North Devon. At other times we combine aerial video with terrestrial footage to capture different aspects of a destination, as we have in many of these Visit devon videos.

Visit Devon marketing videos

Prior to making the Visit Devon marketing videos public, we had an invite down to the Visit Devon re-launch, where we showcased our latest videos to the Visit Devon members. One of our videos, ‘Foodie Heaven’, stars Mitch Tonks who is renowned for his passion for seafood. A big favourite here in Devon.

The other videos feature The Moors, Houses and Gardens, and The Coast. These are all fantastic places that make Devon a great destination to visit, and of course, live in (if we do say so ourselves).

You can view all of these great videos and more on our YouTube channel.
