Building a Digital Community in Plymouth

Digital Plymouth is a quarterly meet-up in the city, full of conversations about digital, tech and the creative industries. In this blog post, Soundview's Gareth Allen gives his insider view.

As one of the organisers of Digital Plymouth it always gives me great pleasure to greet an enthusiastic audience at our events.  Held every three months in the beautiful Market Hall, Plymouth the evening is about sharing stories, networking and having a drink with like-minded people.
Everyone is welcome, people of all ages and walks of life including students, freelancers, and business owners. All you need to bring is a passion for the digital and creative sector in the city.
The evening is organised around three short presentations from contributors sharing their insights into a particular theme. This leads to conversations and connections. The atmosphere is relaxed, the vibe is inclusive and there are plenty of opportunities to chat with established and future contacts.

The digital and creative sector in Plymouth is crucial for the city. It’s thriving and comprises a diverse range of talented individuals and innovative organisations. The iconic venue in Devonport provides an inspirational backdrop for an evening of conversation, learning and fun.
Come and join us, we look forward to seeing you and one of our future events or if you have a talk in mind, become a speaker and join the growing list of amazing speakers!
