Locations are a bit like buses, you don’t go to a place for ages and then you film at the same place twice in short succession. Newquay, Cornwall was our destination for our recent watersports feature (see here) – and we returned to The Fish House in Newquay to film the finest fresh fish being prepared by Chef Paul Harwood.
He’s worked in top restaurants around the county for more than a decade, and when the opportunity arose for Paul to set up his own fish restaurant right on the beach – he jumped at the chance. Paul says:
“The inspiration for our food comes straight from the sea, using locally caught fish and shellfish caught straight from Newquay harbour. We use the best seasonal ingredients available, to create rustic dishes with authentic flavours. What better way to finish a day on the beach than watching the sunset eating amazing food and soaking up the atmosphere.”
