The full release, including our video, is on December 12, but the song has been made available on pre-release the day Plymouth Argyle Football Club play Exeter City Football Club. All involved hope to hit the charts at Christmas time and Janner Song is already a big hit at the Plymouth Argyle supporter’s Green Taverners Fanfests. the song is performed by Rick O’Shay and Dave Banana as well as other band members.
Celebrity Support for Janner Song and Video
We cannot give too much away but we have seen fantastic support for the project including from Plymouth Argyle, Plymouth Albion and Plymouth Raiders as well as other celebrities including Alex Reid, Timmy Mallet, Paul Mariner, Bastille and Mark Ormrod – let’s just say some of these might feature in the video! All proceeds raised will be donated to the Chestnut Appeal, which is dedicated to supporting patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Aerial Video Home park
What we can tell you is that we used the drone to video Home Park, Plymouth Argyle’s football ground and it looked fantastic. Some of the players were also involved with filming in the ground- Kelvin Mellor can be seen above. We also filmed at music studios April Media, where Plymouth Argyle players and Manager were put through their musical paces.

The song is already making the news and The Plymouth Herald and Torquay Herald Express have already featured the story. We are really proud to be involved in the project and have met some fantastic people determined to raise as much as they can for the Chestnut appeal.
