Being an over adventurous, water-loving Labrador, Chris has waited until the last minute to book him in for a wash and scrub with Michelle at hoochandpooch dog groomers.
Murphy’s coat is looking well-groomed and silky smooth and the normal Cornish stagnant pond smell has been replaced with something a little more fragrant.
Ready for his close up, Murphy will be with us on our shoot to provide the canine cuteness showing visitors that the Moorland Garden Hotel provides a perfect getaway for people and pooches looking to have the very best location to explore Dartmoor
“We welcome dogs in the Dartmoor Bar and Lounge within the hotel, and have five dog-friendly rooms on the ground floor with garden views, and can offer luxury dog beds, bowls and blankets. Although they may not be able to choose from the extensive menu at The Wildflower Restaurant, treats are provided in The Dartmoor Bar where owners and their furry friends can settle in after a long day to enjoy bar snacks and drinks. Maps with ‘waggy tail walkies’ are also available and many of these walks can be guided on request by The Dartmoor Ramblers Association. Guests and their canine companions can discover the nearby moorland sites made famous by the Hollywood blockbuster ‘War Horse’. They can even visit local beaches that accept dogs all year round.
