Food videos promote South West destinations
From source to plate, there’s a great deal of passion in all those involved in the South West food industry. Our videos aim to capture that sense of pride. We speak to the producers and chefs who are hard at work providing the kind of fare that has gained the region its reputation for excellent food. Farmers, fisherman, restauranteurs and more share their enthusiasm, promoting the South West, giving visitors even more reasons to come!
England’s Seafood Coast
Around the South West fishing is a massive industry. Our work with the English Riviera and their England’s Seafood Coast project aimed to boost the knowledge about the extent of seafood available. We spent time in Torbay working with Seafood Ambassador, Mitch Tonks. We also visited Brixham fish market to hear what the fisherman have to say about seafood. The videos ranged from 360 VR, timelapse for social media and a BBQ on the beach how-to video demonstrating How to BBQ freshly caught mackerel.
Visit Dorset
Our work with Visit Dorset shows off the fantastic restaurants and markets in the region. The people behind the great food share their passion for their work, telling us about the rich traditions and history. Dorset blue vinney cheese is unique to the area, so of course that features in our video. But there is so much more on the menu: we hear about the food revolution happening in Dorset. Restauranteur Mark Hix, who grew up in the county and runs the Lyme Regis , Food Rocks festival describes how food has put Dorset on the map.
Cornwall and Devon video production
Cornwall and Devon have lots to offer, fantastic beaches, beautiful countryside and of course…some iconic dishes. In Cornwall there’s the famous Cornish pasty. Another Cornish classic is the cream tea. They’ve all featured in a series of videos for Visit Cornwall. Food Cornwall shows a range of what visitors can expect to find and Wild Foraging encourages visitors to make it themselves, al fresco. We also find out about contemporary cuisine in Cornwall Food Scene. But of course Devon also lays claim to the cream tea among other local delicacies. These feature in our film for Visit Devon Foodie Heaven .
All in all the South West has fabulous food, and our clients know that that’s something that attracts visitors. See some of our blogs about making the videos.
