Working in collaboration with Exeter based advertising agency RH Partners and Recycle Devon, we developed some fun storyboards to show how small changes in our lifestyle help save you cash and cut down on waste. The brief – three, twenty-second adverts to run on social media – meant the films needed to be accessible and fun to encourage residents of Devon to get on board. The New Year was a fitting time to run the campaign when everyone pulls their belts in after the festive spend. The results – well the films are great, concise and with clear messages, oh and definitely fun!
Two films have tips on how to turn your leftover food into yummy dinners, aka a “casserole” and money-saving tips on taking a flask to work, rather than the more expensive option of takeaway coffees. And have you ever heard of swishing? – well no nor had we, but the concept is simple. Instead of buying brand new clothes and throwing our old ones out, organise a clothes swap party.
