Rosemoor RHS Garden
Rosemoor is a Royal Horticultural Society Garden in North Devon. Once a private estate owned by Lady Anne Berry whose passion for gardening can still be seen at Rosemoor today, it was gifted to the RHS in 1989. Since that time the site has grown and welcomes visitors all year round.
Nestled in a quiet Devon valley, its a beautiful place to visit. So we were very happy when they asked us to create a series of films capturing the garden at different times of year. We’ve filmed at Rosemoor before, and it’s always a pleasure. In this most recent film we celebrate Rosemoor in all of its late summer glory.
The Project
In order to capture the highlights of the garden, which describes itself as a mix of formal and informal planting, we decided to use the drone. The aerial video gives a unique insight into the symmetry, design and scale. Back on the ground, we captured the close-ups. The flowers put on a magnificent display for our cameras and many thanks to the butterflies and bees for their role in the film. We couldn’t have done it without them.
The film is on the Rosemoor website as well as their Facebook and Twitter site, where its had nearly 6000 views in a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to filming at Rosemoor RHS Garden throughout 2019 and in 2020.
