South West Tourism Awards Finalists 2020

2020 is rapidly approaching and with it the 2019/2020 South West Tourism Awards. This week SWTA  announced 100 finalists rom a record 773 entries. These represent the best tourism businesses in a region that stretches from Wiltshire to the Isles of Scilly. The awards recognise excellence across a range of categories but we will have to wait until February 6th 2020 to find out who the winners are. That's the date of the awards ceremony, which will take place at Exeter Cathedral.

South West Tourism Awards

Soundview are proud sponsors of the New Business category at the awards. We always really look forward to the ceremony, especially this year with its prestigious venue. We will be donning our black ties and polishing our shoes to attend the event where the South West Tourism Awards finalists 2020 learn who receives Gold, Silver or Bronze. With some award winners going forward to represent the South West in the national VisitEngland awards, it’s always exciting and nerve wracking to watch.

In our category the finalists are Longstone Lodge and Cafe in the Isles of Scilly in Cornwall, Hayley’s Hut in Devon, West Bay Discovery Centre in Dorset and The Apartment in Bath. They all represent a fantastic array of businesses, from glamping to luxury apartments. However, they all have one important thing in common. They are new businesses who have gone the extra mile to ensure an excellent experience for visitors which is something not every business can say.

So, congratulations to all and the best of luck for February 2020, which will be here before we all know it, bring on the South West Tourism Awards Finalists!
