We have entered the getting ready phase for the Creative Catalyst and BridgeAI Innovate UK Global Business Innovation Programme which is heading to the SXSW festival in a few weeks. The saying goes every day is a school day, and that’s certainly been the case!  Our delegate and Soundview‘s Managing Director Gareth Allen attended the workshop designed to build on our knowledge by gaining a deeper understanding of the US market, developing our cultural awareness and networking with other innovative UK businesses. 

We’ll be showcasing The Includiverse, our in device solution for smart glasses to increase access and inclusion at big screen entertainment venues. It will give those who want subtitled content greater choice when they go to the cinema.

At the workshop, we heard from innovators who have been to the festival before, and who described the event’s enormity and the opportunities that are on offer. It was compared to the movie ‘Everything, Everywhere, All At Once’,  a film which explores the idea of moving between co-existing parallel universes. SXSW is a huge conference of professionals and innovators who network, share idea and is an amazing opportunity for discovery. There are over 1700 conference sessions, 3850 speakers and 600 panel sessions.
