The idea was to create minuet long videos highlighting these walks, which was a big challenge considering how much insight our tour guides had.
Miles and Miles
Starting off in Torquay with our walking tour guide Matt, we walked along the Agatha Christie mile, learning about her connection to the town, some of the iconic places in her life and ones included in her famous novels. Rollerskating, grand hotels and gorgeous views wasn’t all we were treated to that day.
That afternoon was Grahams turn to show us around Babbacombe, starting and stopping at the Cary Arms, and of course savouring a pint at the end. A quick trip up the cliff Railway and we’re able to see Portland from 40 miles away from Babbacombe Downs. We defiantly needed a break after that!
Starting off the new week was Nigel, who’s vast history of Brixham was second to none. The views from Berry Head were remarkable, defiantly worth the walk. Lastly was Kevin, showing us around Paignton, taking in the sounds and sights of the popular pier and ending up in the quiet, secluded Elberry Cove.
The Very Best of the Riviera
All of our tour guides were amazing, knowledgeable and accommodating with whatever ideas we threw at them. We can not thank them enough for the time they gave us. As well as a huge thank you to the local business that allowed us to film on their premises.
We managed to capture a bit of sun, sea and stunning costal views. We had a fabulous time filming for The English Riviera and look forward to seeing everyone out there enjoying some walking tours in the heart of the sea food coast.
