Trebah Garden a Titchmarsh Favourite

We were really happy to see our client Trebah Garden feature on ITV's '50 Shades of Green' this week. And even happier still to see our aerial video of Trebah on the show.

Trebah is a stunning subtropical paradise in Cornwall. We love to film there and have been lucky enough to do so many times. But it seems it’s not only one of our favourite places but also one of Alan Titchmarsh’s. His programme ’50 Shades of Green’ features the presenter’s top 50 gardens and Trebah was among them. He has a particular fondness for it and called it his ‘favourite scented garden’. It can currently be viewed on ITV player.

Aerial Video

ITV asked Trebah Garden for aerial footage to enhance the interviews they had, so we supplied what we’d filmed this year. Captured in early summer an hour before the garden is open to visitors, the aerial shots really make the most of the stunning views. They convey a sense of the scale and grandeur of this steep-sided garden valley.  We are in the process of editing the footage for a new video for the Trebah website. This is the latest and joins a series that captures the garden at different times of the year. You can currently see our Autumn video on their front page:

Making the Most of  Video

We understand the value to our clients of appearing on prime TV and storing all of our clients’ footage ready for just such an opportunity. This isn’t the only time we’ve had such a request. In fact, we’re frequently asked to supply video on behalf of our clients to television companies quite literally from all over the world. Our aerial video for Visit Cornwall and Visit Devon has appeared on American, Dutch, German and Chinese television, for example,  helping destinations attract global visitors. We loved filming for Trebah Garden and hope to be back soon!
