iLEAD is a bespoke 12-month programme that will create and embed an ecosystem of talent to challenge conventional wisdom and shape and grow social and economic prosperity…it encourages creative and cultural leaders to join forces with others from different sectors to create a progressive leadership model and deliver a dynamic new vision for the future.
iLead : Critical Recovery
Of course, the iLead project comes at a critical moment for Plymouth. Like many cities, the pandemic has hit the economy and community hard. The scheme aims to help address this in a post pandemic era. With a broad spectrum of experience, and from various sectors, the 17 leaders will collaborate in order to drive innovation and recovery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the creative talent in Plymouth to collaborate with other strong sectors in the city to develop our capability so that we can support the regeneration and transformation of Plymouth.

Initially, in January and February, the team will ideate a series of Grand Challenges. These challenges will be around the themes of creative placemaking, immersive futures and sustainability. Then over subsequent months they will develop these ideas. Finally, the team will deliver an outcome by the end of the year.
