Nearly There: Latest Update Video for The Box

As you can see from our most recent update video, work at The Box, Plymouth has reached an exciting stage. The multimillion pound project, which includes an extension to the existing Museum and Art Gallery  is really taking shape. Due to open for the spring 2020 Mayflower 400 celebrations, this flagship project at the heart of Plymouth's city centre will be a unique cultural attraction.

Our work with The Box

Featuring time-lapse footage from our onsite camera, this is the latest of our films that record the progress of the project. Each regular update video plays an important role in informing current stakeholders and the public. With these audiences in mind, we have also produced yearly reviews and a series of animated timeline films that chart, month-by-month, each stage of the project. These demonstrate the ongoing work across all of the sites. Also, to make sure everyone knows what’s been going on, we’ve even created content for social media.

Finally, as well as creating regular update videos, we’ve also produced a series of behind the scenes films that capture key moments. From packing up the Gallery exhibits, to the restoration of Ship’s Figureheads, these videos feature the volunteers and staff. Through their passion for the enterprise, we get a unique insight into this extraordinary project.  Ultimately all of the video work will provide a legacy for future generations.

We’ve worked with The Box  since 2016. It’s been a pleasure and source of pride here at Soundview to be involved with a scheme that will transform Plymouth’s Museum and Art Gallery into a Cultural Centre that reflects its rich history. See more of our Box blogs below:
